Meet JayeBella
Hi, I’m Jaye! I’m an artist, educator, and lifelong creative with a love for all things colorful, playful, and expressive.
Born in Haiti and raised in the vibrant cultural mix of Miami, Florida, I grew up surrounded by the rich traditions of both Haitian and American cultures. Being fluent in three languages is just one reflection of the diverse experiences that have shaped who I am and how I see the world.
For more than 20 years, I taught preschool-aged children, weaving art into everyday learning and encouraging little ones to explore their creativity without fear of making mistakes. Helping children express themselves freely through art became one of my greatest joys—and that passion continues to inspire me today.
My own artistic journey is always evolving! I love experimenting with different mediums, especially mixed media and acrylics, where I can play with color, texture, and unexpected combinations. My work tends to be big, bold, bright, and full of personality, because I believe art should make you feel something—and, hopefully, bring a smile to your face!
When I’m not creating, I enjoy sharing my love of art with others through classes for children and adults at the Creative Arts Center in Bonham, Texas.
